Explore the mountain world on your MTB at Trailpark Hochjoch

For those who love exploring the mountains on a bike, Trailpark Hochjoch features a unique, action-packed terrain. The park’s three flow trails wind their way from Kapellrestaurant through the forest to the Kropfen middle station.

Trailpark Hochjoch: downhill galore for the whole family

The three lines, situated at 1,850 metres above sea level and totalling nearly seven kilometres in length, promise enjoyment and fun for the whole family! Safety is paramount, so wearing a helmet is a must. It’s also advisable to don a full-face helmet and protective gear such as knee and elbow pads.

  • Open again in summer 2025
  • Operating hours: 09.00–16.30
  • Starting point: Hochjoch Bahn mountain station, Kapellrestaurant  
  • End point: Hochjoch Bahn middle station, Gasthaus Kropfen (inn)
  • Total length: 7 km
  • Highest point: 1,850 m above sea level
  • Elevation loss: 500 m
  • Bike wash on Kropfen

Trailpark Challenge

We are looking for our Trail Hero of the Trailpark Hochjoch. Collect the most trails on the Hochjoch over the summer and win:

1st place: a season pass for you and your bike for summer 2025
2nd place: a Trailpark longsleeve and a bike season pass for 2025 
3rd place: a surprise merchandise package 

How do I do it? 
1. download the SiMoApp
2. start the tracker in the app
3. get on the saddle and ride the trails
4. save and send

In the app you can also see where you stand in the ranking and how many trails you are missing to reach the leading position.
So download the app quickly and off you go to the trail park. 

Please note that the challenge can only be fully tracked if you take the Hochjoch cable car back to the mountain station after descending the trails.

Have you heard about the SiMo app? It’s not only incredibly convenient for exploring Silvretta Montafon, but it also allows you to take part in an exciting challenge. The app tracks the trails you ride and shows you where you rank. Here’s how to participate:

  1. Download the SiMo app.
  2. Start the tracker in the app.
  3. Hop on your bike and ride the trails.
  4. Hit save and submit.

Please note: The ride can only be fully tracked if you use the Hochjoch Bahn cable car to return to the mountain station after your descent.

Conserve your energy

Your shuttle: the Hochjoch Bahn cable car in Schruns

Save your energy for the downhill ride and take the cable car to the trail park’s entrance! The Hochjoch Bahn cable car in Schruns takes you and your bike directly, comfortably and quickly to the Hochjoch Bahn mountain station. You can choose from various ticket options: single ride or day ticket – or, if you have a multi-day, season or annual ticket, bike transport only. This allows you to conserve your valuable muscle power for the thrilling descents at Trailpark Hochjoch!
