The excellent snow conditions in the high mountains make it possible: Silvretta Montafon will be the first ski resort in Vorarlberg to open its slopes on the Grasjoch for weekend skiing on Friday 17 November. Season and annual passes are still available at pre-sale prices until 8 December - the current opening times of the individual lifts and operating hours can be found at www.silvretta-montafon.at.
Friday 17 November is the day: skiing enthusiasts can start the 2023/24 winter season in Silvretta Montafon. The ski area is opening the Grasjoch ski area, the highest part of the ski area. "We are delighted to be the first ski resort to kick off again this year. Winter sports enthusiasts can already enjoy their first turns on the piste on Friday. Our early start to the season has come to characterise us - I would like to take this opportunity to thank our employees for their great commitment," emphasises Martin Oberhammer, Managing Director of Silvretta Montafon.
Continuous operation from the beginning of December
In November, the Silvretta Montafon ski area will be open at weekends from Friday to Sunday. Continuous operation is planned from 1 December, which will be heralded by the Montafon Ski Opening together with Bergbahnen Gargellen. "In addition to a varied programme at various stations, there will also be a legendary party and a live act in the market hall as part of the Ski Opening Montafon, which our guests can look forward to," says Peter Marko, also Managing Director of Silvretta Montafon.
Advance sales for season and annual tickets until 8 December
Season tickets and annual passes for the Montafon Brandnertal WildPass are available at discounted advance sale prices until 8 December. "We recommend this great promotion to all those who want to ski at the best prices. The advance booking offices are scattered all over Vorarlberg and as far as Germany and Switzerland - but of course the tickets are also available online," explains Peter Marko.
Free annual pass for all children up to the age of 10
All children up to the age of 10 can pick up a free annual pass at the mountain railway and advance booking offices. "The next generation of skiers is our future. The Montafon Brandnertal cable car pool gives all children up to the age of 10 free access to the wonderful mountain world," adds Marko.
