New bike offers in the Silvretta Montafon
The winter season is almost over and summer won't be long in coming. Silvretta Montafon offers unique mountain experiences with many events for its guests all year round. One highlight is the Montafon Totale Trail - a mountain running highlight for all running fans in front of the fantastic Montafon panorama. In addition, the new flow trails on the Hochjoch adventure mountain are another bike experience waiting to be explored by the whole family. The new Josefsheim Hostel is the ideal starting point for sporting activities of all kinds, even in the warmer months.
The Montafon Totale Trail - ever higher, faster and further
The trail running event starts its sixth round on July 9th. The Montafon Totale Trail (MTT) - a run high up in the alpine terrain of the Silvretta Montafon - is tough, challenging, but at the same time incredibly beautiful. In the face of the impressive natural backdrop of the Montafon mountains, the runners are pushed to their physical limits between amazement and enthusiasm. Participating mountain runners from all over the world can choose one of three different distances when registering. There is the Montafon Totale Mountain Run with 10 kilometers and 1,200 vertical meters, the Montafon Totale Trail with 33 kilometers and 3,300 vertical meters and the Montafon Totale Ultra with 47 kilometers and 4,200 vertical meters. The Montafon Totale Trail and Totale Ultra both start on July 9th at 07.00 am at the Alpin Sport headquarters in Schruns. The Totale Mountain Run then starts at 11.00 am at the Valisera cable car valley station in St. Gallenkirch. New bike offers in the Silvretta Montafon
For those who prefer to explore the mountain world on a bike, Silvretta Montafon has a lot to offer in the summer months - especially on the Hochjoch adventure mountain, where a new special feature for all bike fans opens at the beginning of July. The three new flow trails with different levels of difficulty - from very easy to moderately difficult - are another biking highlight for the whole family. From the Kapellrestaurant on the Hochjoch to the Kropfen middle station, the three lines lead down through the forest over an altitude difference of 500 meters and a total length of seven kilometers. The first complete flow trail can be ridden at the end of July and all flow trails will be completed by the end of August. In addition to the new bike trails, Silvretta Montafon has the ideal offer for every taste and ability. With 270 kilometers of cycle, mountain bike and e-bike trails, there is always a suitable tour in the Montafon - with or without a guide.
Summer mountain adventures in the Montafon
In addition to the event highlights, there are also hundreds of kilometers of hiking trails and via ferratas to discover in the summer months. Silvretta Montafon offers tour suggestions for the whole family. In

adventure experience for the whole family. There are also many interactive stations for young and old in Alpenwelt Nova, where you can learn interesting facts about the Montafon. The mountain summer in the Silvretta Montafon starts on May 26th with weekend operations. From June 16, the lifts will then start operating daily from 8.30 am.
The Josefsheim as a meeting place in every season
True to the motto "Eat & Stay", the Josefsheim in the center of Schruns, which opened in December 2021, offers a place to come together in summer and winter. The former maternity and hospital in the heart of the Montafon consists of a modern and open-plan restaurant on the first floor and a cozy hostel on the upper floors. In culinary terms, the restaurant focuses on the reinterpretation of traditional dishes, but also on colorful bowls with regional ingredients from the Montafon. With an integrated ski and bike depot and short distances to the cable cars, the Josefsheim is the ideal base for sporting activities at any time of year.
