Krauthobel thrilled 1,000 fans at the Silvretta Montafon concert

Schruns. It was the summer highlight for many Montafon locals: The open-air concert by local cult band Krauthobel last Saturday, August 14. The musicians played for around 1,000 fans on the terrace of the Hochjoch-Kapellrestaurant against a breathtaking sunset backdrop.

For around 1,000 Montafon residents and guests, it was the must-attend event of the summer: the open-air concert by the band Krauthobel last Saturday. Until four years ago, the Schruns church square served as the event location; since summer 2018, the traditional annual concert has taken place on the panoramic terrace of the Kapellrestaurant at the Hochjoch cable car mountain station. Against the idyllic backdrop of an impressive sunset, the Montafon cult band performed their songs in "anplAKT" - acoustic versions - for over two hours and delighted the fans. "This is the fourth time we have brought the popular band to Silvretta Montafon. After we had to cancel the concert last year with a heavy heart, I'm particularly happy that the live concert in perfect weather brought back that summer feeling for the first time. The acoustic versions together with the breathtaking sunset in the mountains will remain unforgettable," says Peter Marko, Managing Director of Silvretta Montafon, enthusiastic about the atmospheric evening.
