In Silvretta Montafon, over 100 kilometres of perfectly groomed ski slopes and more than 30 open lifts are currently waiting for their guests. Skiing is currently possible throughout Austria with a valid 2G certificate - double vaccination or recovery. However, the mandatory checks on vaccination status often lead to long waiting times at the ticket offices when purchasing tickets across the country. This winter, Silvretta Montafon has introduced an additional contactless solution to significantly simplify the procedure. With the help of the Pick Up Boxes from Axess, guests in the Montafon can activate their tickets independently on site together with an EU-compliant 2G certificate. This uncomplicated option reduces queues at the ticket offices and also offers the quickest way onto the slopes.

With the Scan & Ski function, the best way to secure your ski ticket is from the comfort of your own home or while travelling in the Silvretta Montafon online shop. This method is uncomplicated and takes place without waiting times. In the next step, the EU-compliant 2G certificate can be uploaded to the COVID activation portal. You will then receive a voucher with a QR code by email, which you can scan contactlessly on site at the pick-up box to print out your lift ticket. In addition to digital booking, there is of course also the option of purchasing the lift ticket on site at the ticket machines, in the Intersport shop or at the cable car ticket offices.
