Our Green Mountains products are determined according to an evaluation matrix. The evaluation matrix contains 4 criteria. Firstly, attention is paid to sustainable raw materials or recycled materials: e.g. organic cotton: Organic cotton, wood products from Austria or with a seal, organic virgin wool. Long life cycles, such as: durable printing, washability, reparability, second-hand use possible as well as recyclability (purity of type, purity of color, recyclable material) are taken into account. Packaging material is used sparingly so that little waste is produced on delivery. If possible, the packaging material should also be recyclable. A product is assessed on the basis of these criteria and then awarded the GMI product label.
